A big thank you to those of you who supported this year’s show and made it one of the most successful to date!

Exhibitors, traders, modelling demonstrators, stewards, sponsors and of course, the public who paid to come to the show. Without you all, it just doesn’t work…

The winner of this year’s BEST IN SHOW as chosen by the public, was The Modules, presented by the Leamington & Warwick Model Railway Society, who this year had their own dedicated ‘Village’ area, which went down a storm. Special thanks to the club for putting on such a great display, and especially to the members who brought along their individual modules.

The Modules certainly entertained, with plenty of buttons for youngsters to press, and lots of interesting characters, including Wallace & Gromit and Godzilla among the many and varied individual sections of model railway layout – what a talented bunch the LWMRS are!

And hearty congratulations to Robin Brogden from Heysham in Lancashire, who returned to the show with his Museum of Transport layout to celebrate the 35th year (to the month) that this incredible layout has been on the exhibition circuit. There is so much to see and enjoy on the layout – another great crowd pleaser.

Such was the high standard of layouts at this year’s show that the vote was very spread out. Only just pushed into second place by a couple of votes was James Street, the epic ‘N’ gauge layout presented by Steve Wright and his team. Then there was a whole group of layouts with a similar number of public votes including Jubilee Lane, Kaninchenbau, Ludlow, Tytton Hall Yard and Bridge Road, while coming an impressive joint third was our youngest steward, 8yrs-old Sam Bevon, with his school project layout, Little Barley!

Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of TT:120, our ‘TT Special’ event promises around 15 layouts in ‘TT:120’ and 3mm ‘TT’ scales, plus supporting specialist trade and up to 30 other layouts across the scales!
